Josh joined Boyum Barenscheer in early 2021 as our first dedicated Talent Acquisition professional. He came to the firm specializing in hard-to-find people and hard-to-fill roles. His focus on the candidate/client experience and “above and beyond” service mentality have proven to be a natural fit for the firm.

Josh grew up in the Lake Okoboji area in Iowa and went to Arizona State University, as well as Century College in White Bear Lake. Like many people at Boyum Barenscheer, he comes from an entrepreneurial home and understands the commitment it takes to run a successful business. He spent his formative years being a mediocre athlete, getting sunburned on the Iowa Great Lakes, and helping at one of the family businesses. Josh and his wife live in Roseville. He spends his spare time playing golf, riding beach cruisers, long boarding, snowboarding, collecting vinyl records, and taking on home projects with varying results.
